From the New York Times: ...One of the laptops was a Macintosh belonging to Kait Duplaga, who works at the Apple store in the Westchester mall and thus knows how to use all its bells and whistles. While the police were coming up dry, Ms. Duplaga exploited the latest software applications installed on her laptop to track down the culprits and even get their photographs... This month we meet on Friday May 30th at Middlesex Community College in Middletown, CT. This is our annual "Hands-On" Workshop meeting, in which everyone gets a computer. Thanks go the College opening its doors to our group, we get to take advantage of their computer labs, where everyone gets a computer to follow along with the presentation. In fact, we have THREE presentations to choose from! One: Adobe Photoshop with John Scott Two: Apple iWeb (part of iLife) with Don Dickey Three: Adobe Illustrator with Paul Baldassini Our meeting begins at 7 PM in Room 509 of Snow Hall on the Middlesex Community College campus.
