CMC's March MeetingWednesday 3/25 at 7:00 PMUCONN Health Center, Farmington This month's topic is how to use your Mac as a "Media Center" in your living room! What's a media center? Well, it's a computer being used as an entertainment device, allowing you to access your multimedia content and display it on your TV (and/or hear it through your stereo/surround system).
Whether the content you have is TV shows, DVDs, Pictures, or Music (or all of the above), you can use your Mac to bring them all together. It's like having a DVD player, CD player, DVR and slide projector all inside your Mac. Presenter Chris Hart will demonstrate the hardware pieces you need, the software available to make it all work, and how to deal with the technical hurdles that you may encounter.
